Are you a Field Service Engineer with mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic experience looking to join a growing business, where you'll work on specialist shredding and recycling machinery in a varied role offering training, career progression, and the chance to travel across the UK and occasionally Europe as part of a supportive team?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a family-owned engineering company at the forefront of shredding and recycling solutions. You will install, maintain, and repair both mobile and static shredding equipment at customer sites, ensuring critical machinery runs efficiently with minimal downtime.
This company is a specialist engineering company established in 2020, with a team of 12 experts providing installation, servicing, and support for high-performance shredding and recycling machinery across the UK and Europe.
The Role:
* Installation, servicing, and repair of shredding machinery (mobile & static).
* Diagnose and resolve electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults.
* Carry out preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
* Conduct RAMS and always ensure Health & Safety compliance.
* Provide clear service reports and operator training on customer sites.
* Travel across the UK with occasional trips to Germany, France, and Switzerland.
The Person:
* Experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar (heavy machinery / mobile plant).
* Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
* Confident in diagnosing faults with motors, sensors, and control panels.
