Spectrum IT are working with a Havant-based client to recruit a Contract 1st Line IT Support Engineer. This is an onsite role providing front-line IT support to users, with a particular focus on maintaining and supporting a 3rd party booking application used by field service engineers to log and track their work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1st Line IT Support to local and remote users
* Manage Active Directory administration including account unlocks and password resets
* Support and maintain a 3rd party booking application used by service engineers
* Handle day-to-day service desk tickets, logging, updating, and closing requests in a timely manner
* Escalate issues when required, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
* Deliver professional, customer-focused IT support onsite
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in a 1st Line IT Support or Service Desk role
* Knowledge of Active Directory and user account administration
* Familiarity with supporting business applications and software tools
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills

* Fully onsite role based in Havant, Hampshire
