Executive Search Consultant - Financial Markets/Hedge Funds
Join our team! We at SR Investment Partners are looking for an entrepreneurial, passionate Hedge Fund Analyst with business development and sales expertise to grow within our firm with a start-up mentality. We are a consultancy/executive search firm. This analyst will need sales skills, business development expertise, a passion for the investment industry, and knowledge of financial markets, including asset classes. This role is client-facing and requires a start-up entrepreneurial spirit and network-building ability.
Our role is to help build investment divisions, structure, and create competitive advantages for clients. We focus on areas such as France, the United Kingdom, the USA, and Asia. The candidate will build out existing portfolio areas and develop new lines within investment management, with a strong emphasis on Portfolio Trading and Quantitative Research, requiring a network of portfolio managers, traders, C-suite executives, and investors.
We specialize in identifying high-caliber professionals and teams relevant to the investment management industry across all asset classes, working for both buy-side and sell-side firms. Our services include fund building, investment analysis, and talent acquisition to meet client objectives.
Responsibilities
* Investment Banking & Asset Management - Front Office / Markets
* Business Development and pipeline management
* Research companies bottom-up and analyze findings
* Daily reporting on trends and economic changes in the fund industry
* Experience in relevant work roles
* Conduct calls and meetings with institutional clients and prospects across Europe and the USA, including Family Offices, Funds of Funds, Private Banks, Pension Funds, Endowments, Consultants, and HNWIs
* Create and pitch to investors, develop partnerships
* Prepare market pitch books of trading strategies
* Handle Investment Relations with investors for subscriptions and redemptions
* Marketing and strategic business development initiatives
* Build and maintain brand awareness globally
* Maintain a strong network of industry relationships and manage the sales process to successful closure
* Communicate effectively with industry leaders and conceptualize ideas with entrepreneurial spirit
* Update and track Fund CRM profiles and relationships
* Conduct client reviews and prepare summary materials for client coverage and strategy meetings
* Participate in networking groups and community programs to enhance skills
* Complete all hiring paperwork and background checks as required
* Communicate with Fund Managers, CEOs, Investors, and Board members to define plans and objectives
