SEND Teaching Assistant
Salford | £95 - £115 per day | Start ASAP | Temporary with potential to be permanent
Your New JobYou will be working as a SEND Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with special educational needs in a primary school setting. This role involves working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support to children with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. You’ll be expected to help create a positive learning environment, assist with classroom activities, and provide one-to-one or small group support where needed.

What You'll Need to Succeed
1. Experience working with children with SEND, ideally in a school setting
2. A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
3. Strongmunication and teamwork skills
4. A relevant qualification or training in SEND (desirable but not essential)
5. An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one through Hays
