Job Title: Packaging Technologist – South East

As the sole packaging development expert, you will develop quality and functional packaging that satisfies the requirements of customer briefs. You will provide technical support to related departments, originate, issue, control and maintain packaging component specifications, attend and advise NPD meetings, identify, brief, control and carry out compatibility testing of packaging components, bring new packaging concepts and technologies to the company, conduct external audits of suppliers and contractors, coordinate production line trials, approve artwork ensuring technical correctness, and liaise with customers and design houses.
Requirements: A minimum of two years’ packaging development experience in an FMCG environment; a toiletries background is an advantage. This stand‑alone role requires a self‑starter who can identify innovation and cost‑saving opportunities and communicate with internal and external customers.
