NHS Grampian is seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Procurement Specialist for a permanent position. The role involves ensuring the effective and efficient use of medical and surgical supplies while maintaining quality standards.
The successful candidate will provide clinical support and advice to multidisciplinary healthcare professionals regarding the selection, evaluation, procurement, and use of clinical equipment. They will lead efforts to develop and maintain interfaces between clinical service users and the Procurement Service, focusing on the acquisition and management of medical and surgical products, stock redesign, and controlling purchases to meet financial targets.
Applicants should possess a relevant degree and/or be a Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional, utilizing their medical and surgical expertise to influence change. Experience working within health, social care, or related public sector environments, along with problem-solving skills, is essential.
