CLIENT MANAGER - FX TRADING SYSTEMS - LONDON (FULLY-REMOTE)
An FX Trading Technology provider is seeking a new Client Manager to serve as a technical contact for customers. This individual will be the primary technical point of contact for any issues relating to the firm's FX Trading Software functionality and connectivity. The role is fully remote, but this individual must be based in England.
Responsibilities:
* Be the primary technical point of contact for any issues relating to the firm's FX Trading Software functionality and connectivity
* Translate customer requests into project requirements
* Utilize customer requests for product enhancement and release documentation
* Communicate project statuses internally and with customers
* Manage Software releases (document release notes, manage product configurations, etc)
* Collaborate with Software Engineers and QAs on feature development and bug fixing
* Collaborate with Tier 1 & 2 support teams to resolve and escalate operational issues
* Participate in a follow-the-sun support model (communicate issues in ticketing systems and provide end-of-day handoffs)
Requirements:
* Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience liaising with customers as a point-of-contact in a highly technical environment
* (Nice-to-have) Experience supporting Electronic Trading Systems
* Strong knowledge of Electronic Trading Systems
* Strong knowledge of FIX Protocol
* Strong knowledge of the FX Trading space
* Experience supporting Linux Systems
* Strong skills with scripting languages like Python and Bash
* Experience with log investigation and configuration file management
* Experience working on Ticketing Systems like Jira
* Strong knowledge of APIs (i.e. Rest)
* Experience working on Java-based Systems
