As a Store Manager at Co‑op you lead a team to deliver a great in‑store experience while guiding both commercial and community strategies in a busy, service‑focused environment.
Responsibilities
* Empower your team to deliver great service and promote the Co‑op difference to customers and members.
* Build an inclusive culture where everyone can speak up and share their views.
* Develop your team through regular performance conversations to help them reach their potential.
* Ensure the store is safe, legal and operational.
* Manage and optimise the store’s commercial performance, recruit new team members and manage HR processes.
* Deliver the store purpose by guiding commercial and community strategies.
* Support the store with day‑to‑day activities such as inventory management and visual merchandising.
Qualifications
* Experience guiding and developing a team in a busy, service‑focused environment.
* Resilience and strong problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to understand and analyse commercial information.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to coach, motivate and inspire.
* Willingness to roll up your sleeves and support team activities.
