Salary range: £34,400-£50,000
We're looking for either a junior or mid-career talent manager to support the business in further growth, to represent a number of our current talent, and who can work towards a full roster within a couple of years. You can view our current roster here.
With a team of skilled individuals, you'll help shape the direction of your clients' careers, taking part in the highs and lows, and have an impact on the changing landscape of the creator economy.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:
* Establishing and developing connections to further the agency's reputation and actively build the quality and breadth of Ziggurat's talent roster;
* Overseeing negotiations and commercial discussions for advertising deals;
* Establishing and maintaining the trust of clients and partners, as a critical friend and key advisor;
* Supporting clients and managing teams in the delivery of initiatives ranging from channel and audience growth, content production, and product development, to wider revenue growth opportunities and business; and,
* Being an exemplar of ethical business standards in the industry.
You will have the option to work fully remotely within the UK, be based at our office in the UK, or a hybrid version of the two. You will also need to travel to meet clients and attend events locally and overseas, depending on roster.
We offer all staff 25 days annual leave excluding bank holidays, as well as inclusion in the company's profit share scheme, and mental health insurance policy.
The Candidate
You may already be working in a talent agency looking to move to full-service, already work with creators but on the marketing side, or working more widely in the creator economy. Whatever your background, you will have a demonstrable interest in factual entertainment, have a high level of integrity and good judgment, and have unquestionable communication skills – you can charm and persuade.
The opportunity to work with creators directly should excite you, and you might already have ideas of how you'd like to cultivate your own roster. You will have excellent negotiation skills - not thuggish, but confident in understanding the value of things.
You need no network or "little black book". You will need to be humble as to the role of a talent manager in the wider context of a client's team and the team at Ziggurat: you will be ably supported by colleagues and assistants.
