Curious about the world of airline sales and commercial analytics? This is your opportunity to join Virgin Atlantic as an Apprentice – Agency Sales Analyst Executive, where you’ll support our UK Travel Management Company (TMC) account team and get hands-on experience turning data into action.
You’ll dive into the exciting world of agency sales, learning how we build partnerships, analyse performance, and uncover new commercial opportunities. Along the way, you’ll develop your skills in CRM tools, communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement—with plenty of guidance and support to help you grow.
Whether you’re passionate about data, storytelling, or the travel industry itself, this role is a brilliant launchpad for a future in sales, commercial strategy, or business development.
Day to day
* Support the team in analysing agency performance data and creating dashboards in tools like Excel and Salesforce
* Help coordinate and deliver training content to external agency partners using Virgin Atlantic’s brand voice
* Shadow account managers on sales calls and agency visits, gaining insight into client engagement and commercial strategy
* Track training engagement, support feedback collection, and help identify areas for improvement
* Maintain CRM updates and assist with tagging and tracking key opportunities
* Work alongside Sales Analysts on reporting, insights, and simple forecasting projects
* Assist with account onboarding and offboarding processes in partnership with internal teams
About you
* You’re curious, proactive, and excited to learn about how data drives business decisions
* You’ve got a keen interest in commercial business, sales, or marketing—and a love of travel doesn’t hurt either
* You’re confident using Excel or Google Sheets, and ready to build your analytical toolkit
* You’re a strong communicator, eager to develop your skills in writing and presenting
* You thrive in a team, enjoy collaborating with others, and have the interpersonal skills to build relationships
* You’re organised, detail-oriented, and ready to take on new challenges in a fast-paced, fun environment
