Copy & Content Marketing Executive

We’re looking for a passionate, skilled, and proactive Copy & Content Marketing Executive to help us deliver engaging, meaningful communications that truly resonate with our customers. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative copywriter ready to take the next step, combining excellent writing skills with campaign planning, content ideation, and hands‑on delivery, while owning and protecting our brand tone of voice across a wide range of outputs, particularly social media channels.
Responsibilities
* Research and write high‑quality, accurate, and engaging copy across website pages, blogs, emails, paid media assets, customer communications, social media, and scripts, ensuring consistency and impact.
* Act as the owner and champion of the MoneyPlus tone of voice, supporting colleagues across the business who use the brand writing guide, and upholding quality and consistency at all times.
* Transform strategic objectives and campaign briefs into compelling content ideas, working closely with the Head of Brand and graphic/content designers to develop and execute them.
* Contribute to the ideation and rollout of multi‑channel campaigns, taking a hands‑on approach to turning ideas into action and delivering strong results.
* Manage a light‑touch social media presence, posting approved content, scheduling updates, and monitoring engagement, supported by agency partners where needed.
* Support the performance team with their content needs, responding to briefs and helping to translate requirements into high‑quality copy that meets performance targets.
* Maintain an up‑to‑date knowledge of compliance requirements and financial services regulation to keep our communications clear, fair, and appropriate.
* Monitor and report on the performance of content, using insights to refine and improve future activity.
* Stay on top of industry, cultural, and consumer trends to keep MoneyPlus content relevant and valuable to our customers.
Qualifications
* 4+ years of experience in content writing, copywriting or marketing related field.
* Proven copywriting skills with experience creating content across multiple formats and channels.
* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to own and champion a clear, consistent tone of voice, supporting others to apply it.
* Strong research skills, producing well‑informed, relevant content.
* Familiarity with SEO best practices and openness to develop skills further.
* Experience planning and delivering content to deadlines.
* Confidence managing basic social media posting and scheduling.
* Knowledge of content management systems (CMS).
* Ability to think creatively and bring campaign ideas to life.
* Good communication and stakeholder skills.
* Positive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and grow.
* Experience in financial services or a regulated sector (preferred, but not essential).
* Interest in financial wellbeing, money‑saving, or debt advice topics (preferred).
