Clinical Director – Veterinary Referrals. Are you an experienced Orthopaedic Veterinary Surgeon Specialist seeking a leadership role?
As Clinical Director at frank. Pet Surgeons, you will mentor and coach our veterinary team while maintaining hands-on clinical work. You will have dedicated clinical time to work up cases, perform surgeries, and provide excellent patient care, alongside protected time for your leadership responsibilities. This site is dedicated to surgery and orthopaedics, offering a rare opportunity to shape and expand a surgical service at the forefront of veterinary orthopaedics.
Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a Specialist-led surgical team (4 Surgeons, including 2 Specialists) and 3 Surgical Interns.
* Provide hands-on orthopaedic care, including advanced surgeries and complex cases (e.g., total hip replacement, angular limb deformities, complex fractures, spinal and soft tissue surgeries).
* Work within cutting-edge facilities and uphold the highest standards of patient care.
* Contribute to the development and delivery of a comprehensive orthopaedic surgical service.
* Uphold the Surgical Complications Guarantee covering complications arising within 6 months of a procedure; participate in fixed-price package offerings.
What we’re looking for / Qualifications
* RCVS, American, or European Boarded Diplomate candidates are encouraged to apply.
* Experience with total hip replacements and advanced orthopaedic procedures.
* Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate within a Specialist-led team.
Working pattern
This is a full-time position, offering 40 hours over 4 days with a 1:3 on-call commitment.
