Job Title: Hard Services Manager Location: North of England (multi-site) Salary: £55,000 benefits Overview: Our client is seeking a Hard Services Manager to lead Hard FM operations across a portfolio of commercial buildings. The role focuses on planned and reactive maintenance, statutory compliance, and overall operational performance across multiple sites, including regular travel to North Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities: Oversee PPM and reactive maintenance across all sites Ensure CAFM systems (e.g. Planet FM) are accurate and up to date Conduct audits, compliance checks, and quality reviews Lead and develop on-site maintenance teams Manage contractors and third-party suppliers Control budgets, track spend, and ensure value for money Provide technical support on building systems (HVAC, alarms, plumbing) Ensure full statutory and contractual compliance Produce reports in line with QMS standards Requirements: HNC/HND or Degree in Building Services, Engineering, or FM City & Guilds in Mechanical or Electrical discipline Strong technical FM background in commercial environments Knowledge of compliance (H&S, fire, building regulations) Experience with CAFM systems and asset management Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Additional Information: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday Participation in on-call rota (3rd line support) Occasional weekend flexibility required
