Role Overview
We are currently looking for an LCMS/MALDI Technical Sales Specialist to join a leading analytical instrumentation company based in the Central/West GB area. As the LCMS/MALDI Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our client’s mass spectrometry business, delivering tailored solutions, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Direct Sales and Revenue Achievement: You will be responsible for selling a range of mass spectrometry instruments, including LC-MS/MS, HRMS, and MALDI solutions, while meeting or exceeding budget targets.
* Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including service, product specialists, and marketing, to provide guidance, support, and solutions that ensure customer success.
* Strategic Planning and Documentation: Prepare business plans, territory strategies, reports, tender documents, and solution proposals tailored to customer needs.
* Customer Demonstrations: Plan and execute customer demonstrations in collaboration with demo lab specialists to showcase capabilities and solutions.
Role Requirements
* Relevant degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, pharmacy, biochemistry, or a related field.
* Proven industry experience in solution selling, ideally with LC-MS systems.
* A working knowledge and practical experience with chromatography and mass spectrometry techniques.
