4. Ensuring compliance with transport policies, procedures and legal regulations.
5. Identifying and resolving any transport-related issues or delays.
6. Preparing and presenting transport performance reports.
7. Maintaining a strong working relationship with drivers and other staff.
8. Assisting in the continuous improvement of transport systems and practices.
Profile
1. Experience in transport planning and logistics within the transport and distribution industry.
2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. The ability to work various shift patterns (mornings, evenings, nights, weekends).
5. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
