Job Description
We’re looking for a skilled Power & Environment Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team in North London. You’ll deliver technical engineering services focusing on mechanical and electrical servicing, repairs, maintenance, and installations. Travel across the region will be required with occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities Summary
8. Troubleshoot faults and perform corrective maintenance
9. Test and validate new power systems
10. Ensure compliance with safety, industry, and regulatory standards
11. Drive continuous improvement and stay updated on technical developments
12. Collaborate with internal teams and third-party contractors
13. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
14. Respond to service outages and participate in 24/7 callout rota
15. Stay current with developments in electrical engineering and power systems
16. Support upgrades and modifications to existing systems
17. Install, commission, and maintain Power and Environmental systems
18. Engage positively with customers and uphold company standards
19. Work safely in line with Health & Safety and SHE policies
Must-Haves
20. Full UK driving licence
21. City & Guilds 2382 – 18th Edition Regulations
22. Previous field service experience or completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship
23. Working knowledge of power supplies, HVAC systems, ACBs, generator systems, static UPSs, and static switches
24. Familiarity with Safety, Health and Environment legislation and procedures
25. Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required

26. Strong understanding of power systems and electrical/environmental engineering principles
27. Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
28. Proficiency with diagnostic engineering tools and software
29. Analytical and technical problem-solving abilities
30. Excellent communication skills for collaboration and technical presentations
