Job Overview:
As a Service and Commissioning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in reshaping the gas sector while advancing your professional journey. Our client has innovated the gas industry by developing technologies and solutions used throughout the UK. The next chapter involves aiding the gas industry's transition to net zero, and we are seeking passionate individuals to join the team.
Responsibilities:
1. Undertake system calibration, repairs, and maintenance activities on client sites, addressing concerns throughout the process.
2. Perform system commissioning on client sites, resolving issues arising from commissioning.
3. Test communications and conduct end-to-end testing.
4. Provide technical support to clients to address specific issues.
5. Support Installation Technicians and Service Engineers in resolving in-house issues using various communication methods.
6. Advise Design Engineers on commissioning strategies and plans.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in commissioning and/or servicing equipment on client sites.
2. At least 2 years' experience working independently without local oversight management.
3. HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
4. Ability to interpret electrical or mechanical drawings and advise clients accordingly.
5. Knowledge of PLC controllers and pressure control systems.
