We are looking to build our talent pool for Memorial Monumental Fixers to work for Mossfords memorial established in 1821. You will be fixing memorials to an exceptional standard, which conforms to our quality policy. This role requires work outdoors on war memorials, in cemeteries and occasionally required on a construction site. Required Qualifications, experience and skills Punctual. Driving license. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines. Be able to lift and handle materials. Manual handling training will be given. Have good literacy and numeracy skills. Primary requirements & duties Fixing memorials to an exceptional standard, which conforms to our quality policy. Learn all aspects of memorial installation including and to have a good knowledge of all technical specifications and regulations with regard to safe memorial fixing. Required to work out doors in cemeteries, churchyards, on war memorials, and occasionally required on construction sites. Follow all company rules including Health, Safety & Environmental systems and working procedures. Required to wear company uniform at all times and to represent the company in a polite, dignified and diligent manner at all times. To follow management instructions and carry out other company work duties as manpower and workload requirements dictate. To be flexible and be available for overtime and occasional weekend working as required and sometimes at short notice in order to help the business fulfill its client obligations. Working conditions and physical effort This position requires significant physical effort and the post holder must be physically fit and must declare any illness or medical condition on application for the position. There may be exposure to physical risk from lifting / manual handling materials. Manual handling training will be given. A full health and safety induction and job specific training will be given.
