Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join a rapidly growing business near Ely.The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing financial insights, building models, and delivering data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making across the business. This role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
* Support the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
* Develop, maintain, and improve financial models and dashboards to track performance.
* Conduct variance analysis of actuals vs. budget/forecast, identifying key drivers and business impacts.
* Partner with business units to understand financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
* Prepare management reporting, including monthly financial performance packs, KPIs, and ad-hoc analysis.
* Support scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to guide decision-making.
* Provide financial analysis for strategic initiatives, investments, and cost-saving opportunities.
* Assist in developing presentations for senior leadership and the Board.
Requirements
* Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
* 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, or investment banking.
* Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Hyperion, or similar) is a plus.
* Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* High attention to detail, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
