Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee payroll processes and manage third-party provider (Phase 3)
* Check, re-check and resolve payroll errors and discrepancies
* Handle employee payroll queries confidently and independently
* Generate reports using Excel (advanced skills required)
* Collaborate with HR and Finance stakeholders
* Use of SAGE HR system
The Successful Applicant
What We're Looking For:
* Experience processing payroll for 500+ UK employees
* Proven experience working with third-party payroll providers
* Strong understanding of UK tax, benefits, and deductions
* Confident handling payroll queries in a standalone capacity
* Proficient in Excel and payroll reporting
* Immediate availability through end of May
* Able to commute to Harrogate for initial onboarding (first week only)
* Flexible or remote working available for the right candidate
