Talent Acquisition Lead
* Annual Salary: £35K-£39K DOE

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Lead to lead the full spectrum of talent acquisition, resourcing, and workforce planning activities across the business. This pivotal role will transform recruitment from a reactive, transactional process to a proactive, strategic function. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our organisation attracts, selects, and retains high-quality staff aligned with our curriculum delivery, learner growth, and strategic priorities.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Strategic Recruitment Leadership:
o Lead all recruitment, resourcing, and workforce planning activities, ensuring alignment with curriculum delivery needs, learner growth, and strategic priorities.
o Shift recruitment from transactional hiring to proactive talent acquisition.
* Talent Acquisition & Resourcing:
o Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for academic, support, and leadership roles.
o Develop job postings that are inclusive and tailored to the business.
o Oversee shortlisting, interviewing, and selection processes, ensuring high-quality practices.
o Train and support hiring managers in effective recruitment practices.
o Ensure compliance with safer recruitment and safeguarding standards.
* Workforce Planning:
o Develop and maintain a comprehensive workforce plan that considers curriculum growth, funding changes, learner numbers, and skills shortages.
o Analyse trends in vacancies, turnover, and hard-to-fill roles to support strategic staffing decisions.
* Employer Branding & Attraction:
o Enhance the company's employer brand to improve recruitment and retention.
o Promote the company as an employer of choice within their sector.
o Build relationships with sector bodies, job centres, and professional networks.
* Early Careers & Talent Pipelines:
o Lead initiatives for campus recruitment and early careers, focusing on building talent pipelines for critical roles.
o Support pathways from industry to education, enhancing routes into further education teaching.
* Data & Reporting:
o Monitor key recruitment metrics such as time to hire, cost per hire, and quality of hire.
o Provide data-driven insights to senior leadership to inform planning and decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in recruitment or resourcing, ideally within the education or public sector.
* Expertise in workforce planning and data-driven decision-making.
* Level 5 CIPD qualification
* Strong stakeholder management skills.
* A deep understanding of the further education context, including safeguarding and equality legislation.
