Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for an IT Support Technician located in Carlisle. The IT Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting issues related to desktop computers and laptops, Office 365, Teams, servers, and firewalls. Daily tasks include diagnosing software and hardware problems, providing on-site and remote support, and ensuring the optimal functioning of our customers' IT infrastructure.
Qualifications
* Technical support and troubleshooting skills
* Experience with desktops and laptops
* Proficiency in handling support calls
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
* Relevant certifications and prior experience in IT support are beneficial
* An understanding of Sage products is a plus but not essential
* Understanding of firewalls and routers is essential
