Salary Range: £35,000-45,000 p.a dependant on experience
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales and Event Manager to join The Fendale Group, a collection of catering brands based in London known for delivering exceptional food and hospitality experiences. The successful candidate will lead our sales efforts for creative, high-quality events across prestigious venues in London and the UK, with clients from arts, fashion, media, and private sectors.
The role requires strong influencing and closing skills, a proven track record of achieving sales over £1.5m annually, and excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue
* Build and maintain client relationships
* Utilize personal contacts and network to expand client base
* Coordinate with marketing for sales initiatives
* Manage and grow existing accounts
* Provide sales reports to management
Key Tasks include:
* Manage inbound enquiries for Archies and Caiger & Co.
* Drive proactive venue catering sales
* Create and implement sales plans to increase brand awareness and sales
* Attend networking events to expand industry contacts
* Hold weekly sales meetings
* Identify and pursue new venue opportunities
Experience & Skills required:
* Initiative and team collaboration skills
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
* Catering and hospitality or venue tender experience
* Client and staff relationship management skills
* Negotiation skills
* Experience with CRM systems like Pipedrive
* Previous sales and marketing experience in events/hospitality industry
* Fluent English in written and spoken form
Key Results & Objectives:
* Meet sales budget
* Manage a turnover of £1.5m+
Reporting to the General Manager and CEO.
