Role Overview
The
Transcreation & Localisation Specialist
will adapt creative marketing content for global audiences, ensuring it is linguistically accurate and culturally impactful. From translations and cultural insights to project management and quality checks, you'll make sure every campaign lands with the right message in the right market.
This role sits within a global recruitment marketing team, supporting efforts to attract a diverse workforce at scale. You'll work closely with creative colleagues, external vendors, and regional stakeholders, gaining hands-on experience in localisation, transcreation, and AI-driven creative workflows.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage small to medium translation and transcreation projects from planning through delivery.
* Adapt copy across digital, social, and email channels to ensure cultural and linguistic relevance.
* Collaborate with creative teams and external translation vendors to meet deadlines.
* Proofread and quality-check copy for accuracy, tone, and adherence to brand guidelines.
* Maintain term bases and organise multilingual content libraries for consistency.
* Provide cultural insights to shape campaigns that resonate across EMEA markets.
Required Experience & Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, English, Communications, or related field.
* 2+ years' experience in marketing localisation, translation, or transcreation.
* Proven background supporting creative teams in an agency or in-house marketing environment.
* Excellent proofreading and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
* Experience managing small-scale creative or localisation projects.
* Fluency in English (C1 minimum) and familiarity with the EMEA market.
Desirable Qualifications
* Additional fluency in another major language (e.g. Spanish, French, German, Italian, Arabic, Mandarin).
* Background in Translation Quality Assurance and/or maintaining multi-language copy libraries.
* Understanding of brand voice and writing for diverse target audiences.
* Strong organisational skills to balance multiple priorities.
* Experience in recruitment marketing is beneficial but not required.
