Paramount Personnel are recruiting for a talented Commis Chef, looking to take their next step in their career. Our client are seeking a hungry and ambitious individual, looking to progress their career into the kitchen. The personality and fit within the team are key, and are open to candidates who fit the right mould for the team, who can be taught.
The main role and responsibilities of a Commis Chef are:
6. Maintain kitchen area and equipment, ensuring your station and utensils are in a hygienic condition at all times.
7. Ensure deliveries are stored in the correct locations whilst in a timely manner.
8. Deliver a speedy service whilst ensuring the quality and presentation of food.
9. Consider portion control to minimise waste whilst preparing dishes.
10. Understand and comply with company policy and complying with food regulations.
11. Establish relationships with kitchen staff and those assisting in the delivery of service to customers.
As a commis chef, you will be looking after your own section within the kitchen and have a passion for fresh ingredients and a good eye for detail.
