You’ll be joining a growing team, led by our Head of Company Secretarial, with the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from routine filings to complex corporate transactions. This role offers the chance to learn from experienced professionals, develop technical knowledge, and build a long term career in a niche but essential area of business services.
About the Team
Our Company Secretarial team works closely with clients to ensure they meet their legal obligations under the Companies Act and other relevant legislation. We also support corporate projects such as share buybacks, capital reductions, and reorganisations.
Collaboration is key – we work with colleagues across audit, tax, and corporate finance to deliver a seamless service to clients. Every interaction is guided by our values, ensuring we provide a service that is passionate about making a difference, personal in approach, and professional in execution.
About the Role
* You’ll support the delivery of company secretarial services across a range of clients, with responsibilities including:
* Assisting in the preparation, review, and submission of documents to Companies House, including Confirmation Statements
* Drafting board minutes, resolutions, and other corporate documents for client projects such as share buybacks, re-designations, and capital reductions
* Helping to maintain statutory records and liaising with our third-party storage provider
* Assisting in ensuring compliance with the Companies Act and other relevant legislation
* Taking responsibility for assigned tasks and delivering them accurately and on time
* Following the firm’s systems and processes to maintain consistency and quality
About You
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Computer literate, with strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel in particular)
* Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
* A team player with good time management and prioritisation skills
* Experience in a practice environment or company secretarial work is desirable but not essential
* Strong academic background
