Deskside Support Engineer – 6–12-month contract – Inside IR35
VIQU IT have a customer who are looking for a skilled IT Support professional who is a proactive and customer-focused individual with experience of 2nd to 3rd line IT support.
Within this role you will be required to provide 2nd to 3rd line support directly to the team, this includes Troubleshooting, Inventory management and customer-facing IT support.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong 2nd to 3rd line experience who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges to join a growing IT team.
Deskside Support Engineer's Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 2nd to 3rd line deskside IT support to end users
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently
* Support and administer Microsoft 365 / Office 365, including user management and troubleshooting
* Manage and support devices using Microsoft Intune
* Administer and maintain Active Directory (users, groups, permissions, GPOs)
* Configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
* Manage IT asset inventory and ensure accurate documentation
* Escalate critical issues where necessary while maintaining ownership
* Deliver excellent customer service and clear technical communication
