Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, ensuring their safety, development, a0nd well-being. The Nursery Practitioner will play a key role in supporting children's growth through engaging activities and effective communication with both children and parents.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, fostering their physical, emotional, and social development.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming nursery environment.
* Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for development.
* Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and any concerns.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
* Support the management team in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and nursery policies.
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
* Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
