Cedar Recruitment are pleased to be supporting a dynamic yet driven Public Sector client based in London, with the recruitment of an experienced Finance Business Partner.
The role is permanent and going into the office 2 days per week, with additional expectation as and when required by the service.
The salary on offer is £44,000-£55,500 per annum DOE.
The successful candidate will lead on the financial support to the senior management team covering both the Resources and Chief Executive Service. This role will be to work closely with the Head of Finance, Finance Manager and other area's of the business with high quality yet flexible business partnering,
Main Duties:
Provide help and guidance to the team and the budget holders with budget setting and monitoring of revenue and capital budgets.
Responsible for contributing to and supporting the Medium Term Financial Planning and also delivering on year end processes.
Providing high end technical advice and to the budget holders and officers to support with effective and efficient financial decision-making.
Ensure that Accounts are accounted for in line with reporting standards
Pro-actively seeking opportunities to improve the financial support provided to the service provides to the Council.
Analysing data and other information to inform/challenge decision making
Requirements:
Full or part qualified accounting qualification such as CIMA
Be an experienced Finance Business Partner ideally within a local authority setting
Strong communication and analytical skills
