About the role As part of the Commercial Transformation team, our Business Analysts enable effective decision-making around strategic change and work to ensure the right solution is delivered to the business. Our business cases are founded on accurate root cause analysis, supported by detailed impact analysis, and feature evidence-based benefits measurement - so you'll enjoy exposure to all of these areas across a wide area of Drax activities. That means you'll be developing robust business cases founded on accurate root cause analysis, supported by detailed impact analysis, and evidence-based benefits measurement. Working with the business and IT you'll analyse solution options and recommend the best solution for the business, ensuring the right solution is delivered by defining detailed business requirements and modelling the as-is and to-be states, including processes, information, systems and people. You'll support the design of the solution by defining solution requirements and, if an IT solution is involved, validating agree UI designs and acceptance criteria. You'll communicate and champion both stakeholder and regulatory requirements, all to ensure change is delivered effectively across the business - ultimately supporting stakeholders to both understand and measure benefit realisation in order to validate change success. And with a good grasp on the big picture, you'll help prioritise the overall change portfolio and strategic roadmap to ensure business value is delivered in a controlled and targeted manner. About you With a track record as a Business Analyst, you'll have a wide range of analysis skills in your toolkit. You'll be a skilled communicator with keen listening skills, a collaborative relationship builder, and have strong stakeholder management experience - able to manage conflicting priorities and be able to obtain a suitable agreement to move forward. Organised and structured, you'll be well versed in dealing with a wide range of project documentation, keeping it up to date and relevant in a timely manner. Your capability to assimilate large volumes data and translate it into business problems, requirements and solutions will be fantastic - as will your ability to then making recommendations based on that data, combined with your understanding of stakeholder need. The team is a busy one, working at pace in an often evolving environment, so you'll need to be adaptable and resilient, and enjoy working in a continual improvement environment.
