Job Title: Exams Invigilator (Casual)

Location: Nottingham

Salary: Actual salary £13.05 per hour

Start Date: As soon as possible - ready for exams in October 2025, or Jan 2026

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Casual, as per rota and availability. Term time only.

About the Exams team:

The team is responsible for setting up and running all internal and external exams in line with national guidelines. This includes preparing exam rooms, distributing papers, supervising students during exams, and ensuring a calm, secure environment. You'll be supported by experienced staff and work closely with other invigilators to make sure every exam runs smoothly and fairly.

About You:

As part of the Exams Team at Ellis Guilford School, you'll play a key role in helping students succeed.

Calm under pressure, able to maintain a quiet and focused environment for students.

Observant and attentive, with the ability to follow procedures and spot irregularities.

Professional and approachable, treating students with respect and fairness.

Flexible, available during exam periods and willing to work as part of a supportive team.

No previous experience is necessary—full training will be provided. This role is ideal for someone looking to contribute to their local community in a meaningful way.

Requirements:

GCSE English and Maths at Grade C and above or equivalent.
