Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise care staff to deliver outstanding care in accordance with company policies and procedures
* Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, and medication management
* Develop, review, and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with residents and healthcare professionals
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
* Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any incidents or concerns
* Support residents' emotional well-being through empathetic communication and companionship
* Organise activities that promote social engagement and mental stimulation
* Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care
* Drive the organisation's values by demonstrating leadership and fostering a positive environment
Experience
* Proven supervisory experience within a senior care or care home environment
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members
* Experience in developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise confidently with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
* Competent IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation
* Knowledge of senior care practices, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation is essential
Must hold a Level 3 NVQ qualification in Care, or the equivalent.
Kensington is looking for a Full Time Senior Carer. Working Alternative weekends.
