What To Expect
Tesla Inc. is seeking a Vehicle Readiness Specialist to join our team in Southampton. This position is on-site and may require travel within the country up to 20%. You will be responsible for executing a world-class customer experience by ensuring vehicles are customer-ready at the time of delivery.

What You'll Do
1. Use Tesla proprietary software to log damages caused during transportation and ensure accurate submission for claims.
2. Perform technical inspections on all vehicles prior to delivery, document findings, and rectify issues.
3. Ensure vehicles are delivery-ready, including attaching license plate holders, installing customer accessories, removing plastic, etc.
4. Move vehicles safely and efficiently, maintaining smooth flow from the lot to the delivery bay.
5. Keep complete and accurate records of the vehicle’s condition using internal software.
6. Operate steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment for cleaning and maintenance.
7. Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles using appropriate products and methods.
8. Apply protective finishes to vehicle exteriors.
9. Perform touch-up paint work if necessary.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned to meet business needs.
What You'll Bring
1. Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
2. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work in shifts and adapt to changing instructions and environments.
3. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results on the first attempt.
4. Professional experience in vehicle servicing and repairs, preferably within automotive or related industries such as aeronautics, engines, electrical, marine, aviation, or industrial mechanics.
5. Reliability and ability to perform inspections independently.
6. Legal right to work in the UK.
