What you'll be doing
* Leading large complex mechanical projects circa £20m.
* Managing labour resources and specialist subcontractor packages.
* Driving mechanical works from construction through commissioning, snagging and final completion.
* Monitoring programme, quality, site progress and commercial performance.
* Building long‑term client relationships (the positive kind).
* Guiding and supporting Mechanical Project Engineers and on‑site teams.
* Collaborating internally with H&S, Commercial, Estimating, Design, QA and Accounts.
* Overseeing financial processes including applications, variations and final accounts.
* Providing clear project updates and solutions to Directors.
About you
* 5+ years' experience in mechanical project or contracts management within building services, along with strong technical and commercial understanding.
* Excellent communication and leadership.
* A calm approach under pressure and a proactive mindset.
