The NHS Fife Pharmacy & Medicines Directorate serves a population of approximately 380,000 people and is provided by an integrated team of around 300 Pharmacy staff, including Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Support Workers, Nurses, and Administrators. The team works across Acute and Community hospital sites, General Practices, Mental Health services, and a range of specialist teams. Partnership working is at the core of our values, and we work closely with other members of the multi-disciplinary team, including our Community Pharmacy colleagues, to deliver the highest quality care for everyone in Fife.

Responsibilities
* Assist with the labeling and dispensing of medicines.
* Manage stock and perform reception duties.
* Work in the Dispensary at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy and occasionally at Queen Margaret Hospital.
* Participate in evening, weekend and Public Holiday rota.
Requirements
* Pharmacy experience is not essential; full training will be provided.
* Must become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
* Must hold or be able to demonstrate the legal right to work in the United Kingdom (e.g., visa, settled or pre‑settled status).
Working Hours and Pay
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
