Description
We are inviting applications for the post of Bank DEXA Radiographer to join our small and friendly team at Ashtead Hospital. We are looking for a dynamic person with a keen interest in DEXA imaging. You will have proven experience in DEXA and be comfortable working alongside the team to help run and develop the DEXA service to maintain the highest standards of imaging and patient experience.
The successful applicant must have:
1. BSc (Hons) Radiography, DCR(D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent
2. Certification in Bone Densitometry
3. HCPC registration
4. Sound written and verbal communication skills
5. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
6. Ability to take initiative to help the team
7. Good computer skills
8. Flexibility and adaptability
9. Excellent communication skills
10. Excellent organisational ability
11. Demonstrated customer service skills
Key responsibilities include:
12. Provide high quality individualised imaging services for patients, being sensitive to patients needs for dignity and privacy
13. Participate fully in quality control processes ensuring procedures and documentation is completed accurately at all times
