Responsibilities
* Report directly to the Vice President Fund Accounting Manager and support the Manager in running a team of approximately 8 staff, ensuring timely processing of all client trade instructions and internal controls against intraday deadlines while maintaining high quality service and minimizing risk.
* Expose to complex market instruments and build interdepartmental relationships across Fund Accounting, Valuations, Corporate Actions, Data Management and Client Delivery; participate in project‑based activities and review of new and existing processes and controls.
* Understand the processes, controls, procedures and systems operating within the team and perform designated functions to a high standard, providing accurate and timely services to other teams and clients.
* Assist in managing the performance of the team and its individual members.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 3–5 years of total work experience preferred.
* Ability to contribute to team objectives and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
* People‑management responsibilities may apply in some geographies.
