We’re now looking for an Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician to join our team and support our automated manufacturing operations. From day one, you’ll take part in a four day tailored induction to help you settle in and succeed.

What You’ll Be Doing
As an Engineering Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving our automated processes and packaging machinery. Your responsibilities will include:
* Troubleshooting and problem‑solving to enhance equipment performance
* Providing technical advice and breakdown support
* Developing preventative maintenance plans
* Supporting skills assessments and identifying training needs
* Assisting with installation and commissioning of new machinery
* Ensuring Health & Safety best practice is followed
* Contributing to continuous improvement and project work
* Creating and updating Safe Working Procedures
* Leading and mentoring apprentices/Technical Operators
* Working collaboratively across departments
Shift Pattern (4‑Day Week – No Weekends)
Week 1: Mon–Thu, 2pm–12am
Week 2: Tue–Fri, 6am–4pm
Week 3: Mon–Thu, 5am–3pm
Week 4: Tue–Fri, 6am–4pm
Every other week = 4 days off, giving you exceptional work–life balance.
What You'll Need:
We’re looking for someone who brings strong technical ability, hands‑on engineering experience and a proactive approach. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
Essential Technical Qualifications & Experience
ONC in Mechanical Engineering
Experience working in a high‑speed manufacturing environment
Good working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
Practical engineering skills e.g. turning, milling, grinding and welding (MIG, TIG, MMA and aluminium)
Core Skills & Competencies
Strong numeracy and literacy
Confident communicator with good problem‑solving skills
Ability to manage time effectively and work to deadlines
Basic understanding of project management principles and tools
