Your role:
You will join the highly motivated L&D team to coordinate and support all development programmes across News UK. Your role will involve a huge variety of areas including delivering our Company induction to supporting projects, coordinating delegate lists and managing training and events logistics. Your role will be the supporting glue to the L&D team and you will have exposure to the full remit of L&D initiatives. This role would suit someone who wants a career in L&D and sees this as an opportunity to 'try' the wide variety of initiatives across this department.
Day to day you will:
* Own and run the weekly News UK induction, including logistics, content updates, delivery, reporting and evaluation
* Support the L&D team with logistics such as room bookings, delegate lists, joining instructions, feedback collation, reporting, project planning.
* Manage communications with external suppliers
* Manage email correspondence from internal and external sources
* Organise and coordinate meetings
* Manage key Learning Management System processes
* Support the event planning of residential training programmes
* Own and deliver a number of ad hoc projects
* Supports Head of L&D with team meetings, team communications, ROI reporting
* You are keen to develop a career in L&D
* You are a passionate facilitator who can demonstrate how to deliver induction weekly with enthusiasm and knowledge
* You have experience/skills in organisation and planning, with high attention to detail
* You have strong communication skills and can manage stakeholders at all levels
* You are a team player
