We are recruiting a time-served Welder to join a well-established heavy manufacturing site in Livingston.
This is a hands-on, site-based role, focused on welding and fabrication repairs to large industrial plant and equipment. It will suit someone from a heavy engineering, maintenance or production environment who is comfortable working under pressure.
The role
* Sub Arc welding repairs on large plant and tooling
* Fabrication and repair work from drawings
* Working with materials including mild steel, stainless, Inconel and high carbon steels
* Burning and lancing as required
* Pre-heating using torches or furnaces
What they are looking for
* Time-served Welder
* Proven Sub Arc welding experience
* Strong fabrication and repair background
* Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
* Able to read and work from engineering drawings
This is a stable, long-term role within a busy manufacturing site with consistent work and clear pay progression.
