We are recruiting for an experienced Internal Account Manager for our client at their Basildon, Essex site. They are one of northern Europe’s leading contract manufacturing partners and complete products (electronics). Their services cover everything from production technical services at an early stage to serial production and advanced after-sales services.
Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with previous account management experience to join their friendly and talented team in Basildon. The Internal Account Manager will be responsible for managing a small team of Internal Sales Coordinators, ensuring they receive professional support and guidance. The Internal Account Manager will also manage their own customer portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a small team of internal sales coordinators to maintain motivation and foster positive morale
* Ensuring the customer is kept updated with the latest schedule of their order
* Engaging with Production Management daily to optimise the efficiency of the production schedule.
* Leading daily production meetings, and making amendments as required
* Supplying customers with quotes for recurring orders
* Responding promptly to customer enquiries and referring to the relevant department if necessary
* Generating works orders as per the customer’s schedule
