This is an exciting opportunity to join Mallatite in our Rutherglen, Glasgow manufacturing base.\n\nWe have an opening for an apprentice to join our team as an Apprentice Signmaker. \n\nYou will be aged 16-24 years, (up to age 29 years if specific criteria is met) and will receive full training working within our experienced team. You will also have the chance to develop throughout your Modern Apprenticeship.\n The successful candidates will study towards a nationally recognised Modern Apprenticeship Qualification in Signmaking SCQF 5, as well as full training being provided to enable the apprentice to learn and develop within the department. \n\nOn successful completion of this qualification, the candidate will be given the opportunity to progress to Signmaking, SCQF 6.\n\nYou will also learn about the essential quality checks we have in place to ensure that our products are always completed to the highest quality, in line with the councilâs standard operating procedures.\n Youâll have a head start in this vacancy if youâve completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in a related field. \n\nWeâll need you to provide evidence of your qualification and show you gained the relevant skills from your placement.\n\nYou should be educated to a minimum National 4 level, ideally in Maths and English, and be enthusiastic to learn and develop within the workplace.\n\nA can do attitude, allied to a positive attitude to learning is essential.\n
