Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to take full responsibility for managing independent and key accounts in Belgium and Luxembourg. Reporting directly to the Country Manager for France, your focus will be on optimizing sales opportunities within your existing account portfolio and identifying new retail targets. You will collaborate closely with the Country Manager to develop and execute regional strategies. This position is based in Belgium, with an initial training period at our London headquarters in White City. Travel across Belgium, Luxembourg, and to London for meetings and trade shows will be required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement the growth strategy for your territory.
2. Forecast seasonal product and revenue targets.
3. Present new product ranges to your accounts.
4. Maintain regular visits and communication with retailers and buyers.
5. Coordinate with customer service to manage inquiries, orders, and deliveries.
6. Identify and pursue new business opportunities strategically.
7. Participate in in-country trade shows and support seasonal launch conferences.
8. Make brand-appropriate commercial decisions using commercial awareness.
9. Provide weekly updates on meetings, opportunities, and territory growth.
10. Ensure distribution points align with the brand's luxury and premium positioning.
Candidate Profile
* Experience as an account manager or regional sales manager.
* Proven ability to manage a portfolio of accounts and grow territories strategically.
* High accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail.
* Personable, positive, and skilled at building professional relationships.
* Understanding of Jellycat’s brand tone and communication style.
* Confident in making commercial decisions and receptive to guidance from senior team members.
* Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
* Fluency in French, English, and Flemish/Dutch, both written and spoken.
