ROLE: LandscapesContracts Manager

Role Responsibilities:
1. We are seeking an energetic and valued contributor to manage and develop our Essex region!
2. Mitie Landscapes has a new opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join our team at the UK's leading FM company.
3. You will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operations in Grounds Maintenance and winter services and projects in your region.
4. Agile, flexible working is critical to the continuing success of the Landscapes business; the ability to embed performance excellence through an operating model which supports operational seasonal peaks and out-of-hours customer support is critical.
5. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will lead your grounds maintenance team, ensuring they deliver the exceptional every day.
6. Developing growth and profitable operation of the area.
7. Managing and developing a professional and effective operational team.
8. Implementing a positive health and safety culture.
9. To constantly strive to improve efficiency and utilisation of resources.
10. Ensure the highest level of commitment to people management and development.
11. You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent customer service.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
12. You must have experience within the horticultural/landscaping industry.
13. Previous supervisory/management experience.
14. An excellent understanding of operational IT systems.
15. Can demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality systems and the management of safe systems of work associated with the role and work environment.
16. Able to represent Mitie effectively at both internal and external meetings.
17. Able to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively.
18. Seeks out and takes opportunities to learn new skills as part of personal professional development.
19. Leads by example in all role activities.
20. Flexible working, especially during the winter period.
