Interim Head of Finance Local Government - Housing Subsidiary 6 month contract £(Apply online only) per day 1-2 days a week on site About the client Morgan Law is seeking an Interim Head of Finance for a subsidiary company of a local authority. Accountabilities Work alongside the Finance Director and assist with the following: Housing repairs and project mgmt. management accounting Process mapping current end to end processes to understand where the risks are and work out how to improve them (including how they might work in a new system) Improving the management reporting process Assisting with contract pricing, budget and business plan formulation Reviewing the current system (Sage 200) and improving where necessary Candidate Requirements CCAB or CIMA Qualified with post qualification finance / accounting experience within either a Local Authority or Housing Association (E) Experience working at Head of Finance level or above Experience in Housing Repairs accounting Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Campaign Timeline This is an urgent post and is open until filled.
