Bus Maintenance and Repair Technician Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Bus Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. This role requires strong technical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues effectively.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of buses to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. Key duties include inspecting, repairing, and maintaining buses, as well as investigating and diagnosing mechanical and electronic faults.
* Inspect and test vehicles to identify faults and required repairs.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and filter replacements.
* Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 qualification in the maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy goods vehicles (or an equivalent international qualification).
* A minimum of five years' experience in repairing and maintaining such vehicles, with evidence required to support this.
* Possession of a PCV licence would be considered a significant advantage.

Working Hours and Location
