Are you a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Barnsley or Sheffield? We’re working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary and secondary schools across both areas seeking dedicated TAs to join their teams for immediate starts and September 2025.
Locations: Barnsley & Sheffield
Role: Teaching Assistant (EYFS, KS1, KS2, or Secondary – matched to your experience)
Start Date: ASAP & September 2025
Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time | Long-Term, Short-Term & Temp-to-Perm
️ What You'll Do:
* Support classroom teaching and help pupils engage in learning
* Provide one-to-one or group support for pupils, including those with additional needs
* Help prepare learning materials and classroom resources
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Work alongside teachers and SEN staff to deliver tailored support
You Will Need:
* Experience working in a school or with children (paid or voluntary)
* A Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification is desirable
* A kind, flexible, and patient approach
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
