Security Architect – 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Glasgow (Hybrid)
We’re looking for an experienced Security Architect to design and deliver secure systems and solutions across a global organisation. You’ll play a key role in strengthening our security posture, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements, and embedding best practice across projects and platforms.
What You’ll Do
1. Design and implement robust security architectures for infrastructure, networks, and applications.
2. Assess and mitigate risks across projects, aligning with enterprise security strategies.
3. Define and enforce security standards, frameworks, and controls.
4. Lead on governance, compliance, and incident response activities.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into every stage of delivery.
6. Stay ahead of emerging threats and technologies to continuously improve our defences.
About You
7. Strong background in information and cloud security, particularly Azure and Microsoft 365.
8. Hands-on experience with SIEM, DLP, IAM, EDR, WAF, and SASE tools.
9. Solid understanding of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and the Well-Architected Framework.
10. Relevant qualifications such as CISA, CISM, SABSA, or TOGAF (preferred).
11. Excellent communicator who can translate complex security concepts for both technical and business audiences.
