Interim People Advisor | Kent | £32,700 + Quarterly Bonus (£150) | 12 month FTC
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established, people-focused organisation supporting a diverse workforce across care and support services. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR generalist with strong employee relations experience, who enjoys a hands‑on, field‑based role and working closely with operational teams.
About the Role
You will join a collaborative local HR team supporting a workforce of approximately 800 staff. Working closely with managers across services, you will provide expert HR advice and manage a varied ER caseload.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a busy ER caseload of approximately 15-20 cases at any one time, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and whistleblowing cases.
* Providing practical, commercial HR advice to managers across multiple sites.
* Supporting managers with absence management, performance concerns, and investigations.
* Advising on best practice and ensuring consistency in applying policies and procedures.
* Building strong working relationships across the business.
* Contributing to continuous improvement within the HR function and wider organisation.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role.
* Strong ER experience with confidence managing complex cases.
* A proactive and personable approach with excellent stakeholder management skills.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
* Tech‑savvy and confident using HR systems and processes.
