Overview
Pebbles Care has an opportunity within our residential care team. The role involves working with children and young people in a therapeutic care setting, including driving them to and from school, appointments, and visits, as well as food preparation, household tasks, and organizing activities, outings, and holidays. A full UK manual driving licence is required.

The starting salary is £34,719.00 to £36,248.00 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.
This role is based on full-time hours with a typical average of 56.4 hours per week, including sleep hours.
Responsibilities
* Be employed full-time as a dedicated team member, providing support tailored to the young person2s needs, either one-to-one or two-to-one, on shift with your team.
* Participate in induction and learn our therapeutic care model with the Learning and Development team. Receive support and guidance from our Psychology, Education, and Senior Management teams.
* Be based in one home on a full-time basis, with possible occasional support for other homes within the same geographical area.
* Support the young person’s routines and activities, including transport, meals, and care routines as part of a caring, therapeutic approach.
What We Offer
* A starting salary of £34,719.00 to £36,248.00 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.
* Full-time rota pattern: one day on (24 hours, including sleepover) and two days off (48 hours).
* Average weekly hours, including sleepovers, around 56.4. Flexible arrangements may be available (part-time and zero-hour contracts).
* 5.6 weeks of annual leave per annum (pro-rata for part-time contracts).
* Learning and Development support to obtain Level 3 SVQ / NVQ in Residential Child Care (funding may be available).

Desirable Qualities
* Up to 12 months of experience working with children or young adults (more than 12 months may qualify for higher grades).
* Working towards, or wanting to obtain, SCQF Level 7 or Level 3 Diploma relevant to Children and Young Peoples Residential workforce (funding may be available).
* Familiarity with Codes of Practice set out by regulatory bodies.
* Existing PVG / DBS certificate.
